Money Matters

Money Matters

What’s your first memory of money? How did your parents handle money? How did they talk about it? What did they teach you? These and many other experiences shaped our conscious and unconscious thinking about money and create what we call a “financial blueprint.”

In Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, T. Harve Eker shows how your financial blueprint determines how you make, spend, save and manage, or fail to manage, money.  Our blue print subconsciously tells us what we are worth. One way or another we will rise or fall financially to that level. You’ve probably heard stories about people who won the lottery only to find them selves back where they started from a few years later. That’s their blueprint in action.

By understanding our blue prints we can objectively examine both the positive and negative beliefs and actions they support. If we were raised to believe that rich people are greedy and can’t be trusted, the last thing in the world your subconscious mind wants us to do is become wealthy. By understanding our blueprint, and the blue prints of our partners, it becomes possible to discard the negative attitudes and behaviors and adopt more constructive ones.

I’ll be working with Executive Link members in a program we are calling Money Matters at our winter EL meetings to help them understand their personal money blueprints. We will explore what led to their current blueprints and examine both the positive and negative actions they support. Equally important, we will begin developing a new, more effective blueprint.

RFP alumni are welcome to join us and learn more about our money blueprints at this unique and insightful program. To join us for a Money Matters workshop call us at 707-429-2292.
